So I seen Avatar, earlier today at an IMax 3D showing. The movie was visually awesome to look at, especially in 3D. The explosions could be felt (I'd assume it was the IMax theater). However a few things I didn't like about the movie. It sounded like they were speaking Indian (Native American), most of the animals had sounds taken from either other movies or real life animals, and the story has been told a dozen times (maybe not exactly this way but still has been told). Though I did like the movie but I kinda think it was because of the IMax theater and 3D effects. If you see it like that, you'll enjoy yourself.

imo it was a great movie but youre right, it was an extremely predictable plot and it felt like I was watching pocahontas

amazing forest scenes though for sure
