Because there's more posts listed then are displayed. My guess is a deleted post caused the actual post count of the thread to be off, and when the exact amount of posts is obtained, the missing "nothing" post gets rolled over to a new page.

it does that to most of all forum in different communities. its just your overloading it with to many posts.

It seems to happen when the number of posts per page changes. Was there a change let that here?
R.org is like that with the older topics, because it used to be 10 posts per page, and now its 20, so the last page is actually the middle one.

it said that it was 76 pages but when u click it doesnt have any posts..someone delted one or so. so theres only 75 pages.

Someone mentioned that it's because of the large amount of posts, but this is the first time I witnessed an error. I've been to many forums with much bigger threads and those seem fine.

The solution? Upgrade the forums.
