So far I have only noticed two programs that do this, paint and photoshop.
When I click on the shortcut icon the program doesn't open, even when I go into the folder under program files. Only way I can open either program is if I view a photo with it.
Hope someone can help, thanks in advance

do you have the legal/bought versions?

paint is free >.>, also itunes and windows media player shortcuts dont work
now photoshop is the trail version which magically turned into the full version if you know what i mean
assembly is a beautiful language
so lets just ingore photoshop and lets try and find the problem here

Hah gotcha! but don't worry, at the golden era of piracy, i don't think anyone would pay so much money for photoshop.
anyway try deleting and making a new icon? (i know, as if you haven't tried that already) but that's what i'd do. good luck!!
p.s.: does anyone know why i can't permanently move my rakion icon? i drag it to a specific spot ever time i turn on my computer, and so far, it keeps going back to the old spot where i dragged it from! it's so stubborn its making me "grrr"

buy.a.new.computer? that's really odd. maybe you can uninstall and reinstall everything. or maybe somewhere on your computer, it's set that icons shall not be functionable.

its not the computer, reinstalling the programs dont help, and its not all the icons just these 4
now no more basic crap, ive tried it all >.>
