Check out the new auction system!
http://www.rakionleague.com/auction.php
Listing items is free, and there are a good amount of options you have when listing an item.
I'm new to this thing myself so I'm also still figuring out how it all works, but it's basically no different from a normal auction.
Post any questions you have _________________ Aude Sapere

Is there a way to make the auction system show up in the main area of the site? I know I forget about it quite regularly when i check the site. _________________

What do you mean? Theres a link in the top nav bar and in the portal
If you mean as its own forum section... maybe I can try to do that O.o It would be easier for me to make a more noticeable link somewhere _________________ Aude Sapere

Yeah, a more noticable link would do the trick O_O. I was just thinking something that showed if there had been new stuff in the auction section, sort of like how things light up when there are new posts. _________________

It's up to the seller to determine what payment method, I imagine most of them would accept paypal or bulk cash _________________ Aude Sapere

Added the ticker to appear around the regular forum , had to re-write it myself though _________________ Aude Sapere

The problem is, the auctions are non-binding. I had an item "sell" but hte person has yet to pay, meaning I have it sitting around...not to mention a lack of replies to my PM's _________________

shelbster you can leave negative feedback, reputation is pretty important
theres also no fees or anything so you can always relist it or contact the 2nd highest bidder
i know its not perfect I kinda just threw it up as a test a while ago, and then trading came out and i figured maybe ill see how it works out _________________ Aude Sapere

For someone who always claims to not give a damn about the Rakion community, you're checking the RL forums on your blackberry? |
