Petition to stop potions in the league, A letter to softynx

Hey guys, if you are like me and you don't want to have potions in the league, send this to Softynx Mail Q&A . It was written (quite well in my opinion) by Aphredite.

If Softynx can implement the idea my dearest friend has so graciously shared with us, then there is no need to have unbalanced and unfair cash competition, and I think the RL admins would agree as well.

Dearest Softnyx,

Once again, I bring to your attention another detrimental effect of your beloved events. (Although my last letter was dutifully ignored…) The new additions to the Inventory/Shop alias “Potions” are threatening to evolve into a devastating problem. I ask not that you remove them from the game; in fact, I am content with their varied effects for typical gameplay. However, I am not alone in thinking that these duplicitous little pots will create havoc when it comes to Rakion League Scrims. Not only do they imply that you condone your more wealthy players over those less inclined to spend their life savings on the game…but, they also insinuate that skill will no longer be an issue; instead, the League scrims will be based solely on whoever has invested the most cash into armor and health potions. Imagine a team consisting of each player armed with five cash “armor potions.” This team would be a deity, rampaging through the less fortunate, who did not have 50 dollars to pitch into potions. This is why I propose quite an elementary solution. Input an alert system into Rakion, that alerts all players when any player decides to use a Potion in game. For example, “[ExPlayer] has used (Armor Potion +40%)].” This way, potions could be kept out of Rakion League Scrim games, and result in a much fairer form of gameplay. Without the alert, there is no real way to prove that someone has used a potion. If this were put in place, a ban could be put on Potions for Rakion League scrim games, and should any player disobey the rule, a “screenshot” could easily be taken of the alert; and the team disqualified. By implementing this change, more clans will see fit to participate in the League which will make for a much more enjoyable experience. I assure you many players will agree with my request, and as it seems not the least bit difficult in comparison to other events and updates you’ve awarded, I see no reason why it could not be completed.

Also the way I see it is that this league should be run the way it would be run by softnyx if they had a clan system implemented, because it is (supposed to be) a softnyx sponsored community. Lines should be drawn, but I think they should stop at no cells/chaos on the golems because those are areas where there is a very clear 'lack of skill' situation. People have spent time and money to get stuff for their accounts in this game, and it would be foolish to reject every new feature implemented by softnyx because it gives an advantage to people who spend money or play alot.

eh posting this was pointless if it was directed at softnyx. because softnyx wont give a flying rats ace about it. now if directing it at softnyx was a front for getting everyone elses attention then the post would make sense. but the admins have spoken and thats that.

thinking about it though, the potions may make the league more interesting even though at first i was against it.

At first I was against it. i'm leaning more towards no potions now, and Jaime really does provide a good way to enforce that.

Plus potions are really lovable =-=;; they soo change the outcome of a game Mad

...like I think it was Maltidos or Im o so loco, he afked, and was the last person left against a chaos bs, ninja and another bs all high leveled, once he walked into the SH door, he got raped and had 1/4 of his hp left. He healed 4 times, armor+hp+armor+hp, got full life after his entire armor/hp was knocked down, chaosed and won -.-
