| Hendrix was very skilled, and as far as innovation he's in the same rank as the beatles, but as far as skill goes, Vai could kick his ass in a dual any day :/ |

Vai could NOT kick either Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan's asses in a dual. He is a crazy lunatic, but no, cannot beat the two guitar gods. (Part opinion, Part fact.)

I think it's crazy that you think Hendrix could beat Vai >.>
Hendrix was so widely liked because he was basically the first person to start incorporating feedback in his music. Vai could most likely play everything Hendrix could play, but the same cant be said for Hendrix playing Vai's songs. |

i'm guessing you didn't read any of the posts but your suppose to say your top 5 favorite bands, its not like the "greatest bands ever" and i know there aren't 5 different linkin park bands. unless the only band you like is linkin park..

though Michael Angelo Batio effing owns too but yeah i dont know if i can compare him to hendrix and vai
