Lol it actually differs from router to router where the first IP per MAC starts and ends, so his may be different from yours zonehacks. I have a a similar Linksys with the same screen and mine starts at 192.168.15.100, which is vastly different then both of yours. Not only that, he may not the the first line on his connection, which could make him a .2 .101, or whatever his routers local DHCP server assigns him to.
Do this Divine for the best results:
Go to your control panel->click Network Connections->Then, you should see one to several "Local area connections". Determine which one is your connection to the router (the simplest way is to double click them one by one and analyze the sent and received packets, the one that has the highest amount sent and received is normally your best bet).
When you have determined your connection to the router, double click it once again, but this time click on the tab at the top labeled "support". Looking at this window make sure you see three things: IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway. Once you have confirmed these three exist, you will notice is that the IP you were trying to configure (192.168.1.1) is actually your gateway IP, and not the one assigned you your computer by your router.
What you are looking for, is the last one to few digits at the end of the number to the right of IP Address under the support tab. For example, my IP address is 192.168.15.101. What I'm looking for is the last digits after the last period, in other words the 101. On yours, it may or may not be different, but that is the number you are looking to put into the box where you had the 1 at the the picture you posted.
After you put that last number after the period on the box, go ahead and click apply changes. You should now be fixed Have fun. _________________
