Rakion - not n00b friendly?

So now that good players populate 1-10 games with high level panzers, full equipment, and of course skill. Is Rakion really anti-n00b friendly?
Come to Rakion, get your ass beat, then it's like "hey, you gotta pay if you wanna be good n00b"

Would it be fair to limit the level panzers you can summon at that level (or bring into a 1-10 game)? Or should they boost the amount of life a golem has at 1-10 (Yea I'm sure we've all made those cd smiths with the full level 2 set)

Or how about the game system itself? Is it unfriendly as well? Vague terms, poor descriptions, lag problems that can be discouraging.

Or throw on the hackers, I've seen quite a bit in 1-10, people bring new characters on new accounts to have fun with hacks.

So basically, is Rakion setting itself up to keep new people out?

Meh... i try to avoid the lvl 1-10 games when i remake a character =/ . But since they change the exp distribution for the low lvl stages, u kinda hafta play a lot of them now to get passed lvl 10. I remember sent soft a suggestion a really really long time ago about cells <like Jan last year i think>. I cant remember what i said exactly but i reccomended that "your lvl should be > your cells lvl to summon it, and you shouldnt get back any cp when your cells disappear. So if your lvl 5 you cant summon/equip a lvl 60 panzer. And if your lvl 20 u cant abuse lvl 50 golems T_T.

Rakion tried to get more people to play with the Rec event but we all know how that turned out. Rakion makes low lvl games for beg. players and pro players flood the room lvl'n their panzers all day and callin all the noobs noob T_T do you think the pro community ,us, could be the problem? I want more people to play.. i see like the same people everyday. Its not a bad thing to see you guys everyday but id like to see some new fresh faces in the 31-99 games ^^.

I only bring my naks into 1-10 (they do get kills/get the gold sword for me though...) but to be honest it is quite unfair.

What if they made a game type 1-10 for accounts with characters greater than 30? Seems impossible ~_~

I just don't know how we could keep pros out of n00b games, we're all "guilty" of it I'm sure, and I like bringing my naks there Sad

It's just really discouraging to players if they start a game and there are lag problems, hackers, you get owned by everything, and then you're expected to pay.
And as farshooter said, it would be kind of nice to get some variety of players in the 31+ games, it get's kind of dull fighting the same old people.

Like i remember a game where it was just me and a lil lvl 15 mage left to 1v1 at the end of a golem game and i just played @ his lvl =O. i held my shots for like a second givin him a chance to put up his block and id move less so he could keep up so it would be fun for him too. maybe we can ask pros not to play like pros in noob games? if u make a bs basic the golem to death.

Maybe we can create like a minor league division in the league =O but i duno how well that could go > _< i can see like more than half the teams forfeiting already but in theory, it will help convince the new players that they should stay. This is just a crazy idea though... but if u do plan on doing something like this dont use a lvl cap... make a skill cap of somesort. If your skilled enough to play pro ball then you shouldnt be in AAA.

Most clans i see nowadays are just so obsesed with recruiting the best players in the league that they fail to see or even hunt for the new upcoming lower lvl players who can just tear it up ,or have the potentail, when theyre out there on the battle feild. You can always train someone too. Teach them what lag really is and the whole bug system and maybe a few of your own tricks. i think i typed too much o_o ill stop cause if it gets too long then no one will read this in its entirety.

I've only seen a few newcomers who have a good attitude. Other than that, they say I hack, tell me to get kicked, and/or say I lagg. The only noobs I go easy on are the ones that have respect for everyone else.

and you have a point there.. but then again 1-10 is about the best place to use panzers.. in 11-30 its golems.. in 31-99 its no cells and in cell games, its soul cannons and dragons.
Ehh.. I never really thought since if I was a Cd/range bs in 1-10, I would play about 5 games (and some stages) and i would be off to 11-30

u guys and your high level cells. my panzers are only lv25.

and i only use them when

1- my team is really horrible so i resort to golem kills myself.

2- other team floods their cells, join the party.

3- im getting mobbed

4- there is a decent player on the other team.

5- there is a golem killer on the other team. who i assume is good

yes, 4 and 5 are different, anybody can jump attack the golem til it dies. only some of those golemers are actually good enough to fight without double swining and giving huge abusable openings.

no way would i ever nak, since softnyx deleted my naks when they deleted my archer. damn them!
