RiseA is a so far big disappointment.. :/ I expected at least a win for the 3 matches that they've played.

yea that 3rd match is pretty hard. I think we're gonna lose. o, you're counting the preseason. yah the first two were my fault <--dark noob at leading clan. |

that would be awesome if we can setup someone frapping the match for the playoff~
at the start of the game, the 2 cameramen suicide/die, then tape it while in "ghost" form. (wont interfere with the match)
I for one will be willing to be the frapper/cameraman! |

Yea, we definetely need a cameraman.
When I play with fraps on, it's literally unplayable.
I play on 1280x1024 resolution. When I open FRAPs (lettting it idle), my screen graphics drops down to about 20fps, when I try to record in half size movie, it droped to about 6-10fps. Didn't even bother with full screen recording.
When I dropped down to 1024x768 resolution and have FRAPs on, it only dropped my fps by 3-5, still playable (but not ideal). But when I start recording in half size, it drops to about 15fps, already not playable.
I lag so much with FRAPS that I've been kicked when I opened it (so far only 3 attempts) And no, my PC isn't crappy, here's rough specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3200+
Graphics: BFG Overclocked GeForce 7800GT 256MB
RAM: 2x 512 Mushkin Extreme Performance RAM + 1x 256
HD: 2x 73GB Raptors 10k RPM SATA running on stripped RAID
Only resolution I can play it smoothly with FRAPs on is 800x600, lol.
Conclusion: Don't make someone in game use FRAPs, it's going to affect gameplay. A cameraman would be a good choice. |
