Since Praeda lost vs Pravus, does this mean we're out of the league?
I feel it's a bit of bias towards EUs, only having one advance from our bracket especially since we happened to win against Deity, who is now ranked above us in the league and gets to continue playing.

Of course it's good of me to talk since I'm in Praeda, but who else should bring up our (presumed) lack of justice to discussion than us?

Especially since Praeda and Pravus won all their games prior to facing each other, I would say it would be more approppriate to:

a) Follow the points system of weeks 1-3 with 3-6 too, with all points from weeks 1-6 summed up

b) Rank Pravus #1, Praeda #2, top of US bracket #3, etc. and continue approppriately.

I understand and support putting EUs to their own bracket for weeks 3-6, but in this case the league would either have to end here or continue as I stated in this post in order to be fair (in my opinion). Now we've been knocked out of the remaining league even though we have (in my opinion) proven to, at least so far, be the 2nd most successful team in this league, and thus should be chosen if the teams who will play the final are chosen at this point.

I'm not 100% sure, but what I deciphered from others' discussions was that Pravus would be facing Deity in a "inter-bracketial" final to decide the winner and runner-up of the league, putting Praeda 3rd (unless we would have a match with the runner-up of the US-bracket to decide who's 3rd and who's 4th; even in this case it would IMO be unjust).

There's no 2nd or 3rd place.

There's just a Winner.

So yes your out, and no your not 2nd, your last place. Just like every other clan that doesn't win.

The only Rankings there will be are:
EU Champion (Pravus)
USA/Canada Champion (Pending)
International Exhibition Winner (Pending)

It seems like this discussion has been had before. It comes down to the high latency between Eu and USA/Canada.

So as there are only EU-, US- and International winners, the fact that we beat 3 US clans is completely trivial as we (barely) lost to Pravus? o_O Not only that, both for Pravus and Praeda weeks 1-3 might as well as be left unplayed, as both the EU-winner and the team eligible for IC-match was decided on weeks 4-6.

I understand what you mean, I just think the organisation is... not as good as it could be. Especially with the "1 winner. X-1 losers." (where X = amount of participants in category) -attitude, which makes the league more or less a total failure for the majority who didn't win, as opposed to at least somehow ranking everyone, to give them (except perhaps the very last team in rankings) at least something to be happy about, and for them to know where they are standing.

I missed the "exhibition" part, my bad. My eyes also got too much locked on the word "Finalists" which caused me to even further misunderstand it.

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the fact that us "laggy EUs" got to play in this league, especially since in the EU server there's a major lack of serious clans (there's only Pravus and Praeda, with more or less all others being more of the "friends together" -type). It just bites me that with this type of bracketing we have to walk over Pravus in order to achieve anything at all in the league, when we came here in hopes of finding more variety in competition. One can always hope, I guess...

Well, if this is the system established in the league rules, its no use complaining about it, maybe next time, we'd need to read between lines and just in contracts, not to forget those asterisks
