Why? having the option "No potions" I don't see any problem using Oceanus weapons.
It does not affect to the game play.

Discrimination towards SE!
I say allow it, you had the chance to have it, but you chose not too so duck off! lol |

But it still has a special effect, if we are playing NSE, then we cannot allow some and not others.

I am understanding where everyone is coming from, but can anyone even imagine....tronn NOT in dammed armor??? It's my elemental armor that allows me (tronn) to be divisible by zero

All elementals will be considered SE.
And unfortunately tronn, you must be divisible by 1 like the rest of us for this then.

| I'm going to have to argue against this considering elementals give damage, not fear nor life leech, nor slow no freeze, but a stat like all normal pieces of gear. Euros don't consider ele wrists, shoulders and helm to be SE, I don't think the league should either. |

yea bracers/shoulders/helmet isnt typically considered special effects... imo it shouldnt be, but that one can go back and forth
its almost like a middle ground between SE and NSE :/

My opinion is that you either allow all SE items, or NO SE items at all. Ele Bracers and Shoulders both have hidden effects beyond conventional stats, and as such should be considered special effects, even if they don't have as much of an impact on gameplay as some of the others (fear, curse, freeze)
A "Special Effect" is a hidden component to the item beyond what is listed on the equipment's base stats. It's pretty easy to define what does and doesn't fall in this category. All elementals would. |
