I just got a free copy of Windows 7 (professional edition though  . I really wanted Ultimate's encryption features, but free's free I guess) so I was wondering:
What is the best way to back up my stuff?
So damn lonely... FML.
Backing up data like my videos, music, and documents is the easy part. What I want to know is how to backup my software so that I don't have to re-install everything, or more importantly, have to re-activate my applications with them stupid keys. Sometimes when I re-install a program on a reformatted harddrive, it screws up and says the key has already been used or some shit like that.
FUUCK. To live, or not to live?

Take $100-$200 dollars down to Bestbuy and buy the Western Digital 1 or 2 Terabyte external Hard Drive. From there it's easy to back up everything, just might take a few hours.
