Regarding special effects

Do the elemental weapons/armour increase your damage by a certain % like the other parts? And can you get the effect of critical/chaos steal/ hp steal from weapons if you are not using them? (say you use oceanus dagger and you are using your bow) One more thing. Do you get the stats of the unequiped weapon?

for chaos steal/critical u have to equip the weapon to have its effect but for lifesteal you dont have to change to the weapon as in pressing Q to have the effect and of cause you get the stats of your unequiped weapon otherwise you wont even be offered to buy it from the start

otherwise, like pokey said. You have to be using the specific ele weapon to get the effect, but other effects work regardless of what youre using.

I see. Then I got one more question for my archer (reaching 85 soon). What dagger should I use? Currently, I have a west soul (+6), that frozen level 50 dagger. I am considering getting Oceanus 2 OR the level 85 frozen dagger. Which should I get?

And according to your site, I do not get any increase in damage with an elemental bow? Is that true too?

unsure about the increase in damage,but for me i want to have an "effect archer" lol afterall archer is sort of a far range supporter if you can,use a part of west soul,elemental bow,oceanus dagger,a part of golden cane armour,and for the rest just use east soul or south soul.

otherwise you could use a long dagger like frozen or other items that increases your armour,energy,range or movespeed

EDIT:since elemental body's fear rate stacks with other equipment'sfear rate i suggest u use it if you are creating an effect archer

Elemental weapons give absolutely no damage points whatsoever. They are however in my opinion the best weapons you can have in SU since the chaos stealing and crit far outweigh the 5 or 6 damage points to each stat you might get with normal weapons.

elementals allow you to go over the cap, according to jowy's site.

Where I play, there are no SU rooms. But I agree with what you say. The 5/6 damage points are not worth it. Guess I am sticking with dammed bow then.

My mage uses dammed armour, staff and wand. I am not sure if this is such a good combination, as it is nearly pu-less (level 65 though). Should I swap the weapon? I once thought that it would be lovable for me to critical with ice and steal with bombs, but for some wierd reason I can't seem to steal with the bombs. I am considering swapping my wand away. Is that a good idea? And if I do swap it, what should I swap it for?

singapore. People do not understand SH here. However, there is this "p2gg" mode for eight arena which I doubt you guys know anyway.
