9psi on stock internals for now. I just replaced the engine last week during my vacation. My brother was haulin azz, mis shfted and blew it up. I wasnt too happy.

Ouch, K20s arent cheap. Yeah I think I blew out my throw out bearing and first gear racing an old school FC Rx-7 with LS1+Nitrous. As much as I love the car, I need to sell it. Too much money and too much risk right now
Is that a GSR? Sexy either way. |

Yeah I agree with you. I can't wait for K20s to depreciate more  LS1s are pretty good motors. We got some crazy built ones around here. Some of them are just vicious.
Edit: Sorry didn't see the last question. Yes it is a 99 Flamenco Black Pearl GSR ftw

| Yeah, it doesnt take a lot to open up a LS1. Buddy of mine has a new SI with the k series in it. He plans to turbo it. He also has a 00 SI turboed putting around 400-500 to the ground. Pretty sick ride |

Nice. My brother has a 2006 Si and he don't know nothing about cars. He just drives it and puts gas in it. Doesnt even bother to change the oil.  I tried to tell him to trade me motors. I told him it was inferior to mine  |

I cried when I found out how much another engine was gonna run me. 2500 average. I will take it easy and buiild it right later down the road. Awesome I knew there was a few of us down with Cars.

I blew my motor the first time I got my car. To shorten the story, I ended up getting quoted like 2000 for the motor and ended up paying 4000. Next time im just going 2jz
I used to have a 89 hatch that I was looking into swapping. IMO the motors are way overpriced. Thats when the k20 swap was just starting to show up and it was costing like 10k for a swap into a hatch. |
