yes so like last week after that update for whatever... my fps went from being always 60-63 to jumping (litteraly) between 20 and 59... so i figured i needed a new video card. got the 8800gts ssc today and well it still happens.. sooo im lost as to why this is happening and yes ive reinstalled rakion like 10 times..

Lol, the GTS SSC rocks out hardcore. But yea, it might be your hard drive taking a dump on your face because it is being read and/or written from while you are playing.
Has happened to me once or thrice when I forgot I had 3 FTP transfers going. Check your process list for processes that are reading/writing frequently.

no he has alot of shit going on while playing rakion and its a big no no.
he has alot of applications and useless services that taking up lots of RAM.
even i have more ram than him but useless less memory than his screenshot.

AVG? I had AVG+Zonealarm, but Zonealarm caused problems with Rohan so I uninstalled both.
It might be something esle though... That alone shouldn't make your fps spike. (you have a great comp O_O; my fps is constant 35 and it skips whenever my computer makes a "EHHHRR" noise)

every firewall except the one windows gives you will always have some sort of technical issue.

i only use anti virus and thats nod32...no need for stupid useless firewall programs...they just use your resources heavily.
Maybe also your computer is over heating? that causes slowdowns. I was having some, high GPU/CPU Temperatures, until i took out my fan and cleaned the vents/fan on my laptop.
