Some of you may be familiar with this contest as I've done it on Unforgiven forums in the past. I'll explain how it works, what you win, how often it will run, and the rules.

How It Works

My mom told me about this interesting contest on Lifetime's website, and I thought I'd give it a go here. It's basically bidding, but I'm looking for the lowest, unique bid. What does this mean?

It means everyone pm's me their bid. Let's say I get five bids total:

Sally: $5.00

Jessie: $6.00

Claire: $7.00

Erica: $5.00

Lola: $8.00

I'm looking for the lowest.. That's Sally's and Erica's.. But the lowest unique bid... Meaning the lowest bid, that no one else bid.. That would be Jessie's.

Everyone understand? Your bid must be the lowest.. So you can bid 1 cent.. But if other people bid that, then that bid does not count. And I'll go to the next lowest bid until I find a unique one. If you don't understand, you can post here and I'll try to explain clearer.

What You Win

If you are the winner after the bidding period is over, you will win 10k Rakion cash. I will pm you asking for your character name, and will send it over within 12 hours.

How Often the Contest Will Run

I plan to run this contest every two days until the event is over. That's really only 5 contests. And I may decide to do this for other events. Bidding for the first contest begins now and ends Tuesday May 20th 2008, 12am Eastern Standard Time, midnight. After that, bids will be valid for the next contest which ends Thursday May 22nd 2008, 12am midnight. All of the bidding period end dates are below and you are able to participate in all five.

Tuesday May 20th 2008, 12am EST midnight
Thursday May 22nd 2008, 12am EST midnight
Saturday May 24th 2008, 12am EST midnight
Monday May 26th 2008, 12am EST midnight
Wednesday May 28th 2008, 12am EST midnight

Please don't send me your bids all at once. I'd prefer you to see the results of the last contest before bidding. So you get a better understanding of how people are bidding.

You may cast your bid by PM'ing me, emailing me, or messaging me via msn/aim/xfire - all of which you can find in my signature or below my signature. I don't accept bids ingame because I dc a lot and there's a very good chance I won't see your message Sad

Rules

You may bid any number between one and fifty, including one and fifty.. No negatives, no decimals, no fractions. No posting here what you bid please o.O Only comments or questions.

Contest is open to any forum member, though you can only bid once per ip address. If you decide to bid twice on one ip, and different forum accounts, all accounts that voted through that ip will be disqualified. I'll ask for a mod to help me with that.

Your first bid will be your final bid for that contest. So bid wisely. There are no changes.

Note: There is no catch for this event. It's just for fun :] Enjoy! Take a look at how people voted in the past. Winners are highlighted in yellow, except in the first picture lol. After the contest, I will post the winners.

I think I entered one of these before by Sherri. :].

It was fun.

But it's hard to win -_-;;..more luck than anything else for that matter D:. ALPHA WON WITH 16 CENTS LAST TIME =_-;;.
