Playoff matchups will be announced soon, we're figuring out which teams will be able to advance to the playoffs, luckily for me many teams of dropped out, leaving at most 10 teams capable of moving on. My hope is that 2 of them are incapable and I just don't know it, that way we can have the typical 8 team playoffs and just discard this crappy regular season...

Also, for those of you who haven't noticed, applications for 1 more admin and 1 more game mod are open.

forum mods are solely around to help control the forum in terms of spamming, flaming, or forum content. They aren't necessarily barred from helping with the league, but they rarely are involved in league decisions beyond the forum.

Actually it's different. Right now, since we are a bit low on staff, all game mods are forum mods (like me), but not all forum mods are game mods( An example of this is zonehacks, and I think BH-Kenn, both are forum mods).

the "Official" things you do is (taken straight from the 4th edition of the rule book:
--2.3. Game Moderator
----2.3.1. A Game Moderator is elected by the community to perform his/her job for one season. Game Moderators are also responsible for the following
------2.3.1.1. Enforcing the rules and settling conflicts of the league during the season.
------2.3.1.2. Holding a seat of the Rakion League Ruling Committee and performing its necessary duties.

What I think we do:
Look at the community and see what happens. If a bunch of people don't like something, for example, when potions were introduced to rakion, we had to discuss if we should allow it into the league. We give our point of views, look at other people point of views, and then vote on it, and a new rule is instated.

Makes sure that all hell doesn't break loose. When something comes up (like the electric bug thingy) we have to decide if there will be penalty points, banning, suspensions, etc...

Hmm.. That is a good example of stuff.
