So I recorded most of my enchanting and came up with the following sad but true rates...
[I didn't record how many levels each dropped, but when it drops, the enchanting bonus is reduced by 1 to 3 points]
Mithril: (408 attempts)
No catalyzers
Success: 59.3%
Fail: 15.7%
Fail/Drop: 23%
Destroy: 2%
Adamantium: (101 attempts)
No catalyzers
Success: 56.4%
Fail: 12.9%
Fail/Drop: 29.7%
Destroy: 1%
Orehalcon: (115 attempts)
No catalyzers
Success: 53.9%
Fail: 15.7%
Fail/Drop: 26.1%
Destroy: 4.3%
I do have 67 other recorded attempts, all for different combinations of jewels and catalyzers(3 charms, 1 of each catalyzer, and 3 abradants) but none of them amount to enough data to be reliable, though from what I've seen.... The catalyzers seem to do very little. _________________ Aude Sapere

| i think the destroy % for the mithril is way higher T_T or your just lucky. while trying to refine with 30 mithrils i broke 2 rings 1 divinity bow and a divinity armor. To make things worse @_@ i broke my divinity armor with the first mithril and my bow with the 3rd mithril. |

| well it depends on what level item it is also. you heard alot of people breaking there divinity more than runet. |

The probabilities will change for higher levels as minigame said. So really if we were to try to figure out the probabilities for this it would have to be a pretty huge undertaking with alot of people dedicated to finding out. _________________

I think softnyx made the refinery system to take all your gold/cash.
Cause i always have 1k gold and i buy a mithril bar and have less then 1k gold then i refine and it's always successful..
When i have a bar and i have like 2k gold left it fails and drops so i have to use my 2k gold for 2 more bars to get my item from +3 to +4... _________________

till +3 jus use the 1k and thats it
dont use anything else
even with orihalcon n chance boost will fail to +3 sumtimes like 40%
i suggest u upgrade wit orihalcon and 3 of those that doesnt put ur weapon lv down, i wonder why they bring it down 2 lvs when it says 1 lv down? _________________ taakoptix lv61 |

its weird, my divinity helm is +3 and adds 0.73 AS (thats more then a normal celline red) and adds 0.01 move. But my +3 divinity body adds 0.01 AS? and 0.01 move...
so im thinking, some items are stronger then others for refining, but those are weaker overall when lved up and the ones that are stronger when lved up are weaker in refining (as in break easier). Just a theory, it could just be a bug
just incase u didnt understand taht.. cos i didnt when re reading:
doesnt break/lvs easy but doesnt strengthen much when lved
or
breaks easy/lvs hard but strengthens more when lved.
im also forgetting about the power they add, ill check that later. _________________
