Fogofwar's Analysis of this Crappy Event

Let me start off by saying this is the worst event softnyx has ever come up with, and anyone who participates should feel like fool. I feel like a fool even though I only spent 1000 gold before I knew how it was implemented.

Assuming the payoff is 10 million gold (which is far higher than it is now). I will show you that it is still a huge ripoff.

The expectation would be:

10 million * 1/98280 * 0.6 + 10 million * 1/16380 * 0.2 + 10 million * 1/4095 * 0.2 + 1000 * 1/327.6

= 674.6 gold per play

Note that I didn't account for the adjusted amount since I don't know how many bets it would take to make the jackpot 10 million (i.e. I don't know how much each bets adds to the jackpot or the starting amount). In any case, the true expectation will only be lower.

These are worse than vegas odds. Play at your discretion -_-.

well just think about it as the 400 gold for paying tax. it doesnt really matter... i would be happy to win gold that i payed 1000 and get a million. oh and why does it matter, oh its fake money!

The lottery is bad enough as it is. But the small font is annoying... What was wrong with the other one? Sure you can confuse the capital I for a small L but that was a way of making the character names somewhat unique, if not confusing. The small font though is kind of hard to read.

there testing whether they can fit more things in the main screen mostly and toehr places. they will return the fonts back to normal that probably would be chatting, and other words that they can fit in the future.
